Music Makers – Terms and Conditions – Updated October 2020
At Music Makers, we want to ensure that both your children and you have a magical time. Our sessions are relaxed and social, however, to show respect for the whole group, we ask that general chatter throughout the 40 minute session be kept to a minimum to enable the children to fully engage with the musical activities. Please give your child your full attention and encourage them to participate in the activities, however if your baby or toddler simply observes, they are still experiencing the session.
No food or drink should be consumed at any point during the session, with the exception of baby milk, due to current COVID-19 Infection Prevention and Control measures in place. If your baby sleeps, becomes restless, needs feeding or changing during the session, please feel free to see to their needs and then rejoin the group when ready. Nappy changing should only take place within the designated toilet facilities at each of our venues.
Payments are for termly blocks only and so any missed sessions due to holidays or illness of yourself or your little one cannot be refunded or credited.
ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS DURING COVID-19:
You MUST NOT ATTEND your session if you or anyone in your household has had COVID-19 symptoms in the last 7 days.
If you develop symptoms within 7 days of attending a session you MUST use the Test, Track and Trace system to alert others with whom they have been in contact. You should also contact Music Makers to inform us of any positive COVID-19 test result so that appropriate action can be taken as per our risk assessment.
Only ONE adult per booking can attend, due to current guidelines on limited group capacity.
Hands should be sanitised using the sanitiser provided on entry and exit from the premises.
As per the current government guidelines, face masks must be worn when entering the premises and be kept on whilst on the premises.
Please take particular care to maintain social distancing for any persons aged 70 or over or those who are likely to be clinically more vulnerable to COVID-19, including for example keeping a 2m distance around them when going in and out of rooms and ensuring they can access the toilets, or other confined areas without others being present. For some people, passing another person in a confined space is less risky, but for older people that should be avoided.
As far as things stand at the moment, we request that everyone brings a personal music kit to each session for their best level of protection against cross-contamination and this is also a recommendation from most of our venues due to current government guidelines. You can either purchase one of our specially created music kits, which are designed to be as affordable as possible whilst still providing children with a good selection of resources, or bring along some of your own instruments from home in a little bag. During the session, you MUST NOT share equipment with others outside of your family.
In the event of a local lockdown, classes will move to taking place online. Refunds will not be given. In the event of your class leader needing to self-isolate and a cover leader not being available, the missed session(s) will be credited to your account for use at future sessions.
Thank you for your support and cooperation in making our sessions a safe and enjoyable environment.
