Did you know…?
We imitate and discover socially from a very young age, whether it is just direct imitation – to mimic what is seen and heard – or even just using the same ideas in a different way. This form of early learning is incredibly useful for little ones and researchers have even found correlations between the amount of imitation that takes place during the first two years of a child’s life and subsequent language and social development.
That’s why, at Music Makers, we are built upon a foundation of SHARED music and movement between little ones and their grown ups and we see everyday just how much our little music makers grow and change through those shared interactions!
And as the term rolls on, little ones begin to make friends and also then learn from each other! It’s pure magic to witness.
