About Me
In 2011 when Beth returned to work after maternity leave, she missed seeing her new mummy friends, especially when she couldn’t join them at this great new group called Music Makers! Two years later, Beth made it along to a few more Music Makers sessions following the birth of her second baby. But it wasn’t until 2016, with a third child, no work to return to, mummy friends all back at their jobs and therefore a need to get out of the house to save her sanity, that Music Makers formed part of Beth’s routine. In her own words, she became so much a part of the furniture that she was asked if she would like to be an official member of the Music Makers team, way back in March 2018!
Beth’s pre-parental career had been varied but always people focused and included roles in Early Years settings as well as music publishing. Her love of singing & playing instruments stems from early childhood experiences and opportunities, and so she was keen to instil a similar passion in her own children. With a background in education and having volunteered at her children’s school since 2015, Beth is keenly aware of the educational value and importance of music for learning & development.
So now Beth works regularly alongside Jenni and Simba to bring fun, friendship, music and movement into the lives of many more children and families than just her own, whilst simultaneously bringing those children & families into each others lives.
